Thanks for stopping in.
Hey there! I’m Gabe, the Director of Marketing for DogHouse Michigan. After graduating from Michigan State, I started out as a part-time intern for DogHouse in 2023 and dove headfirst into teaching myself design, strategy, and how to navigate my first post-grad job. Two years and two months later, I had moved all the way up to having sole ownership over runng the marketing department.
Now, after developing my skills, I've added a few more accomplishments under my belt. I expanded my role with DogHouse, becoming Director of Marketing for both DogHouse Oregon and Washington. I’ve also been able to provide marketing and branding support for numerous local businesses. And oh yeah, I started my own business alongside my mom called Second Screen, where we turn vintage TVs into luxurious at-home bars (Learn More Here).
I’m all about mixing creativity with strategy to bring brands to life. I dive into everything from graphic design and packaging to social media, event planning, advertising, and much more. When I first joined DogHouse we had a marketing team of just three. This required me to wear a lot of hats, meaning I’m always experimenting, problem-solving, and pushing our brand forward in new ways. Now as the Director, I still wear those same hats. Our team remains very small, but tight-knit as well. Everyone is expected to contribute on every project just the same as I was an intern.
I’m at my best when I’m given the freedom to try out-of-the-box ideas. I live for those moments when I pitch something and hear, “Are you serious?" that’s when I know I’m onto something. If you’re into bold ideas and love pushing boundaries, let’s chat! I’m always down for a good brainstorm session.
